Jerry was a Retail Manager and R.S.P.C.A volunteer. She is a keen gardener and speaks Bulgarian fluently. She manages Pelican Lake Guesthouse, campaigns locally to keep Srebarna Green and teaches English online and at schools in Silistra.

Mike was a Community Care Development Manager and outdoor events organiser for River Ocean Research and Education. An avid ecologist he now runs the Pelican Lake Environmental Project Centre and has been leading guided walks around Srebarna Reserve for 7 years. He works with Proact, Committee Against Bird Slaughter, BSPB, BAN and others.

Peggy was born in Andalusia sometime in early 1999. She migrated to England in 2000 and then to Srebarna in September 2005. She is our rescued, three legged Chinese Crested Powder Puff Terrier. She is as cute and friendly a dog as you are ever likely to encounter.
